The 8711 therma-hygrometer is an easy to use humidity meter and thermometer. The display incorporates a custom LCD with °C/°F, % RH, max/min and hold indication. There is an automatic display of both open circuit and low battery. The 8711 humidity meter simultaneously displays both the % RH and temperature. The humidity meter measures % RH over the range of 0 to 100% RH with a resolution of 0.1% RH and temperature over the range of 0 to +90°C with a resolution of 0.1°C or °F switchable.

An auto power off facility turns the therma-hygrometer off automatically after 20 minutes which maximises battery life. The unit is powered by a 9 volt alkaline PP3 battery with a minimum life expectancy of up to 100 hours, or via a 9/230 volt AC/DC power adaptor for continuous use. The therma-hygrometer incorporates, as standard, a RS232 output socket.

The therma-hygrometer probe is detachable via a 6-pin connector. If the probe needs to be replaced, the instrument will require recalibration. Supplied with carrying case, battery and instructions for use.

ETI 8703 therma-hygrometer
This easy to use, pocket-sized, therma-hygrometer measures both relative humidity and air temperature. The instrument will also display the maximum and minimum readings and calculate the dew point. The therma-hygrometer measures % RH over the range of 5 to 95% RH with a resolution of 0.1% RH and temperature over the range of -20 to +50°C with a resolution of 0.1°C or °F switchable.

The digital 8703 therma-hygrometer incorporates a clear LCD display indicating both % RH and temperature simultaneously. The display also automatically indicates both open circuit and low battery, when applicable.

The therma-hygrometer incorporates six, easy to use, push buttons allowing the user to select on/off, °C/°F, max/min, dew point (td), reset (RST) and display hold functions. Each unit is supplied with a sensor protective cover that incorporates a pocket clip.

A protective PVC boot is available that helps to protect instruments against accidental damage. The RS232 lead and software is an optional extra for users that wish to log, record and analyse humidity and temperature data. RH calibration test capsules are also available for 33% and 75% RH (supplied as a pair). Simply insert the probe into the capsule and compare the humidity reading against the value of the capsule.
