Printing data logger - The 9881 is a microprocessor based combined printing and data-logger thermometer. The unit is housed in a durable ABS plastic case with easy to use push buttons and a custom LCD display incorporating a backlight.
The printing data logger measures temperature over the range of -200 to +1370°C with a resolution of 0.1°C/°F (-200 to +650°C) or 1°C/°F. The printing datalogger incorporates two thermocouple type K probe sockets, enabling the user the option of connecting one or two probes with selectable readings and printing of probe 1, probe 2 and a differential temperature reading.
The dot matrix printer prints directly onto thermo-paper, eliminating the need for an ink cartridge or ribbon. Now available with re-chargeable battery option!

The thermometer can instantly print a reading or the user can store up to 99 temperature readings for printing out at a later date.
The printing programme incorporates a real-time clock and calendar, allowing measurements to be date-stamped and personalised with up to a 14-character ID note, i.e. with the company name or vehicle number.
The 9881 printing/data-logging thermometer can also be programmed to record temperatures at given time intervals, as often as once a second up to every two hours (7,200 seconds). The unit features a real-time

The 9881 is an ideal thermometer for delivery vehicles and similar. The thermometer can be programmed to print either a summary of the temperature, time and date and an ID note or can print a full history of the temperature during transportation.
Each 9881 printing/data-logging thermometer is supplied with two rolls of paper, two air wire thermocouple probes and instructions for use. A range of compatible thermocouple probes is available. For full details click here.
thermocouple type K probes
Thermometers are only part of the system, of equal importance is the design of the temperature probes used to physically measure the item. ETI manufactures an extensive range of type K or J thermocouple probes to complement the 9881 printing thermometer.
