The RayTemp 8 thermometer features a four-button keypad, allowing the user to select °C/°F and max/min. Additionally, the difference between the maximum and minimum temperature and the average temperature can be displayed.

The RayTemp 8 infrared thermometer incorporates a miniature thermocouple type K probe socket that enables a wide range of type K thermocouple probes to be used for a variety of temperature measurement applications, including air, liquid and surface temperatures. Thermometers are only part of the system, of equal importance is the design of the temperature probes used to physically measure the item. ETI manufactures an extensive range of type K or J thermocouple probes to complement the RayTemp thermometers.

Comparator for infrared thermometers
The infrared thermometer Comparator provides a stable black body temperature source and is an inexpensive way of checking infrared hand held thermometers when used in conjunction with a Reference thermometer.
The Comparator consists of an aluminium cup Ø60 x 100mm with a solid matt black base. The base incorporates two Ø3.5mm holes, one for a Reference thermometer's probe and the other for an additional probe, if required.

The protective PVC pouch helps to protect the instrument against accidental damage. The pouch can also be used for the RayTemp 3 & 4.
